Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographer to join our imaging team. You will contribute to a 24/7 service, rotate through ED, general X-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres, and supervise learners and staff within a busy NHS department.

Applicants should have a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers and be HCPC registered. We welcome both experienced Band 5 radiographers and newly qualified applicants seeking career development within the NHS.

Qualifications

• Evidence of HCPC registration or eligible to apply.
• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers.
• Demonstrated ambition and motivation to develop within a large NHS imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through ED, general X-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres and contribute to a 24/7 service.
• Provide supervision to assistant practitioners, imaging assistants, students and visitors to the imaging department.
• Support safe, efficient operation and high-quality patient care within the imaging team.
• Facilitate patient flow for emergency and inpatient imaging to enable same-day imaging.
