Job summary

We are looking for a General Production Operative to join our client’s team in Honley. You will perform basic manual operations working with chemicals in a basic process, prepare materials, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities include applying compounds, loading daily and weekly production, keeping a safe workstation, handling chemicals per COSHH, and assisting with training where needed. 37.5 hours weekly, £12.71 per hour, temp to perm.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment
• Basic understanding of chemical handling and COSHH would be an advantage
• Basic IT skills and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Hours: 7.30AM-4.30PM

£12.71 per hour - temp to perm contract - 37.5 hours weekly

About the Role

You will have:

• Experience in a production environment - not warehousing or logistics - and in easy commute of HD9 Honley area
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A responsible and reliable approach to work.
• A basic understanding of chemical handling and COSHH would be an advantage.
• Basic IT skills and communication skills.
• A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
