About us

On 1 October 26, Cowes Medical Centre and Newport Health Centre formally merged under a single partnership structure. Whilst both practices continue to operate under separate GMS contracts, responsibility for the overall management and delivery of services now sits with one partnership. This development presents an exciting opportunity to bring together the knowledge, skills, and experience that exist across both sites, whilst retaining the strengths and local identity of each practice.

The merger creates a platform for greater collaboration, shared learning, and more consistent ways of working across teams. By combining expertise and aligning processes, the practices can build on existing successes, improve resilience, enhance patient services, and create a more integrated approach to care.

We have a diverse, multi-disciplinary team which includes GP Partners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, MSK Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Chronic Pain Coach, Care Coordinators, a Social Prescriber and many more vital roles to support our community.

We pride ourselves on a strong ethos of education, training, teamwork, and high-quality, patient-centred care and of course an enviable Island lifestyle that comes with living on the Isle of Wight (sea views optional but highly recommended)

We offer competitive pay, flexible sessions to fit around real life, protected CPD, and a genuine work-life balance.
