We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcareteam at Derwentside IRC. Derwentside IRC is an Immigration Removal Centre based in Consett, County Durham. The site supports up to 80 women aged 18+ with primary care, mental health and substance misuse service. GP sessions are similar to those in community and focus mainly on acute needs with a holistic and trauma informed approach.

Our service operates 7 days a week (Mon - Sun).
This is a part-time working 28 hours per week (7 x 4-hour sessions).
The sessions can be worked flexibly (though ideally on a Tues and Thurs) on a rota, such as 3.5 full days or spread across 4-5 days.
You’ll receive an annual salary up to £125,000per annum FTE - depending on experience.
