Job summary

Operose Health’s Silver End Surgery in Hull is seeking a General Practitioner for a sessional post. You will provide high-quality clinical care to registered patients, including in-person and video consultations, triage by phone, results, reviews and prescription signing, in line with the total triage model.

The role requires GMC registration, NHS Performers List entry and GP accreditation via MRCGP or equivalent, with four sessions across Monday and Tuesday, and opportunities to contribute to

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to registered patients.

• Develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan with the team.
• Attend meetings, home visits and on-call duty (excluding out of hours).

Job description

A General Practitioner post at Silver End Surgery, run by Operose Health, a provider of local primary care. The work is clinical care for the surgery’s registered patients, including in-person and video consultations, telephone triage, results, medication reviews and prescription signing, alongside clinical governance and QOF work. The sessional role covers four sessions across Monday and Tuesday, with a share in developing the surgery action plan. Fit depends on current GMC registration, a place on the NHS performers list and GP accreditation through MRCGP or equivalent experience.

What the job involves

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered at and attending the surgery
• Work with clinical leads and the practice team to deliver the surgery’s operational plan
• Provide clinical care under the job plan and total triage model, including in-person and video consultations, telephone triage, results, medication reviews and prescription signing
• Maintain quality through clinical governance, audit, QOF and CQC standards
• Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan
• Work to GMC standards, putting individual patient care first
• Carry out clinical administration, safeguarding lead work, medicals and reports
• Attend home visits, surgery meetings and on-call duty (excluding out of hours)
