The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre has afantastic opportunity for a GP to join its team. We are looking for anadditional salaried GP to join our team, working up to 9 sessions between our2 surgeries, The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre.

The Practice is now actively encouraging its salaried GPteam to not just to get involved, but to assist and lead on projects thatachieve our two main business aims highlighted above. Of course, time is givenand protected to do this.
It is also worth knowing that in line with our aims toimprove staff wellbeing and in acknowledgement of GP workload pressures, theOaks has very successfully put significant investment into reducing theadministrative burden placed on GPs. Please feel free to call and speak to meabout this.
You will be working as part of a well-functioning teamconsisting of GPs, ANP's, Paramedics, Nurses, HCA's and big number of backoffice staff. Each day is led by an experienced on-call GP who's role is purelysupervisory, and there to support the whole team.
The Practice, whilst having a family feel to it, alsounderstands the importance of structure, recognition and development for itsstaff. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to work in asupporting environment with a built in culture of development and progression.

The Oaks Medical Centre has around 70 employees workingacross three sites in the Great Barr and Streetly area.

The post-holder will manage a clinical caseload and dealwith a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, working as part ofthe practice team, delivering a high standard of clinical care to patientsregistered and attending the GP practice.
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible forthe provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering anexcellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medicalpractice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading byexample, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
