Job summary

Brighton-based accountancy practice is seeking a General Practice Partner / Director Designate to lead client portfolios and drive growth. Hybrid working and flexible arrangements are available as part of a progressive leadership team.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification with significant Director/Partner level experience in a mid-size practice, plus a track record in business development and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Significant experience operating at Director or Partner level within accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical background across general practice, with previous audit and tax experience and a primary specialism in accounts preparation.
  • Proven experience managing and growing a substantial client portfolio.
  • Demonstrable success in business development and winning new work.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating high performing teams.
  • Commercially minded with excellent strategic and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities with a proactive and results driven approach.
  • Experience working within a medium sized practice or matrix organisation would be advantageous.
