This position offers flexible sessional work within established GP clinics, ideal for nurses experienced in delivering routine treatment room activity and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.

You will assist local primary care teams with general nursing responsibilities, clinical reviews and patient-facing procedures in structured, well‑organised environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing routine nursing support across GP clinic settings
• Conducting wound care, dressings and treatment room duties
• Administering routine immunisations and vaccinations (if trained)
• Completing smear tests if cytology-trained
• Supporting chronic disease management and care plan activity
• Undertaking NHS Health Checks where required
• Documenting clinical information accurately in digital systems

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with relevant primary care experience
• Strong treatment room competency
• Good communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt to new practice environments quickly
• Knowledge of common clinical systems beneficial
• Enhanced DBS clearance
