Locum Ready is seeking a General Practice Nurse to support regional primary care services across Blairgowrie and surrounding clinics. The role offers flexible sessional work in established GP settings, ideal for nurses with routine treatment room experience and the ability to support day-to-day clinical operations.

You will assist local primary care teams with general nursing duties, clinical reviews, and patient-facing procedures, in well-organised environments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with primary care experience.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Knowledge of common clinical systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine nursing support across GP clinic settings.
• Wound care, dressings and treatment room duties.
• Administering routine immunisations and vaccinations (if trained).
• Completing smear tests if cytology-trained.
• Supporting chronic disease management and care plan activity.
• Undertaking NHS Health Checks where required.
• Documenting clinical information accurately in digital systems.
