Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a hands-on operatives-leaning candidate to support manufacturing and processing tasks. You will degrease components, perform chemical cleaning, and operate heat treatment and quench ovens within a safety-focused environment.

The role involves preparing units for inspection, TPM tasks, and adhering to EH&S policies while working shifts as needed. Training is provided to cover all processes.

Qualifications

• Good level of numeracy and literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Degreasing components and chemical cleaning and processing.
• Operate heat treatment ovens and hardness testers.
• Prepare units for inspection and operate drop quench ovens.
• Prepare vacuum dry ovens and TPM activities.
• Adhere to EH&S policies and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business in many areas in operational activity. Role will include and not limited to. Responsibilities: Degreasing Components, Chemical Cleaning and Processing, Operating Heat Treatment Ovens, Operating hardness tester, Operating Drop Quench Ovens, Prepping units for inspection., Operating Vac dry oven., TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance), EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance).
