Job summary

Manpower UK in Swindon is recruiting for a General Operator - Manual Packing to join a busy pharmaceutical production team. The role focuses on accurate, safe packing of filled product vials in a regulated environment.

You will follow SOPs, gowning and cleaning procedures, manage stock, perform labeling and in-process checks, and support Data Integrity and quality standards. Shift is Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–23:00, with pay rate £16.91 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated production operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow SOPs and Data Integrity principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs for manual packing of filled product vials.
• Adhere to gowning and cleaning procedures in the packing area.
• Assist with safe transfer of materials into production.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure items are within expiry dates.
• Carry out cleaning and maintenance in line with cGMP and regulatory standards.
• Perform packaging, labeling, line-end run-off and in-process checks.
• Identify and report non-conformances or deviations to QA/management.
• Complete production documentation accurately in alignment with company procedures.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment.

As a General Operator - Manual Packing, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed accurately and safely while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the manual packing of filled product vials.
• Adhere to gowning and cleaning procedures within the packing area.
• Assist with the safe transfer and handling of materials into the production area.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of operational materials and ensure all items remain within expiry dates.
• Carry out cleaning and maintenance activities in line with SOPs, cGMP requirements, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
• Perform packaging, labelling, line-end run-off activities, and in-process weight checks.
• Identify and report any non-conformances, quality concerns, or process deviations to team leaders, management, or Quality Assurance.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in accordance with Data Integrity principles and company procedures.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment.
