Job summary

Ashton Recruitment Ltd. is seeking General Operatives for a client site in Warren Point, Newry. Immediate start available for candidates willing to undertake any tasks within a warehouse/industrial setting.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm and Friday 7am to 4pm, at a rate of £13.08 per hour. This is a temporary ongoing role requiring a valid UK driving licence and the ability to lift heavy items while maintaining safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial/warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Own transport required due to location and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting loading and unloading of containers.
• General housekeeping duties.
• Assisting in movement of goods and lifting/loading.
• Working safely to meet deadlines and in accordance with health and safety rules.
• Loading and unloading timber into machines.

Ashton Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit General Operatives to work for our client based in Warren Point. We are looking for candidates for an immediate start, who are willing to undertake any tasks required.

Position: General Operatives

Location: Warren Point, Newry

Duration: Temporary Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £13.08 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm, Friday 7am to 4pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Assisting the loading and unloading of containers
• General housekeeping duties
• Assisting in the movement of goods
• Lifting, Loading and Carrying
• Working in a safe and timely fashion to ensure all deadlines are met
• Working in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Loading and unloading timber into machines

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in an industrial/ warehouse/ manufacturing environment
