Job summary

Ashton Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our client in Belfast. The role combines warehouse duties with local van deliveries, working Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, with a temporary to permanent contract. Salary is paid per hour and you will be integral to a small warehouse team.

You will handle stock, packing, dispatching orders and local deliveries. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, and candidates must be aged 25 or over for insurance

Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00

This is a varied role, combining warehouse duties with van driving, so no two days are exactly the same!

Your duties will include:

• Receiving orders and checking deliveries
• Booking goods into the warehouse
• Stock control and stock checks
• Picking and checking orders
• Packing and dispatching orders
• Driving a company van for local deliveries and collections when required
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties

Essential Criteria:

• Must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Previous experience working in a store or warehouse environment
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Reliable and organised approach to work

Desirable Criteria:

• Valid forklift licence
