Venesky-Brown Recruitment is seeking a General Operative/Driver for the Sizewell C project in Leiston, Suffolk. The role combines operative duties with driving and site logistics across the project, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Applicants must have a valid CSCS card, full UK driving licence, and Blue Lanyard clearance. Prior site experience and strong safety awareness are preferred to support operations on site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS card and be fully licensed to drive on-site.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required for driving duties on site.
• Must hold Full Sizewell C Blue Lanyard clearance.
• Previous construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure site experience is advantageous.
• Good awareness of site health and safety.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general site operative duties.
• Driving company/site vehicles as required.
• Transporting personnel, materials or equipment around the project.
• Assisting with deliveries and movement of materials.
• Supporting trades and site teams where required.
• Maintaining clean and safe working areas.
• Following all site health, safety and security procedures.
• Carrying out other reasonable duties to support site operations.

Venesky-Brown is recruiting for a General Operative / Driver to support works on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
This is a site-based role combining general operative duties with driving and general logistical support across the project.

Pay Rates

• £16.50 per hour – first 10 hours Monday to Friday
• £20.63 per hour – after 10 hours Monday to Friday (x1.25)
• £24.75 per hour – all hours Saturday and Sunday (x1.5)

Essential RequirementsApplicants must already have:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Full, valid UK Driving Licence
• Full Sizewell C Blue Lanyard clearance
• Previous construction, civil engineering or infrastructure site experience
• Good awareness of site health and safety
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
