Job summary

360 Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking a General Operative for a metal recycling yard in Saltley, Birmingham. The role is hands-on, physically demanding and involves working outdoors on a busy site from Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm.

You will sort and strip scrap metal, prepare materials for recycling and assist the site team while upholding health and safety requirements on site. An ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity with weekly PAYE pay and holiday pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous recycling, scrap yard, labouring or industrial experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

30-minute unpaid break

The Role

We are looking for a reliable General Operative to join a busy metal recycling and scrap yard in Saltley, Birmingham.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role carrying out general manual duties across the yard.
