Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Willand is recruiting a Production Operative/Loader to join a busy chilled factory environment. You will handle, truss, cut and pack food products for top-tier customers while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

The role offers a 4-day working week with pay rates starting at £13.26 per hour and rising to £13.94 after successful training, plus excellent training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Electric pallet truck license (preferred).
• Level 2 basic food safety.
• Level 2 Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Handle, truss, cut and pack food products for top-tier customers.
• Carry out factory duties after training.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and presentation.
• Produce each product to required specifications.
• Follow safe-working practices and halt unsafe activities.
• Undertake other duties to ensure smooth operation.

The hours of work and shift patterns are:

4 days working week

• Wk1 Monday-Thursday
• Wk3 Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday

Pay rates: £13.26 raising to £13.94 after successful training

Main Responsibilities

As a Production Operative with 2 Sisters, you will be handling, trussing, cutting and packing food products for top tier customers within a busy chilled factory environment.

• To correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in any area of the factory
• To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
• Produce each product to the required specification following all quality standards
• Follow all safe-working practices, halting any unsafe working practices.
• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit.
