Job summary

JN Bentley is seeking enthusiastic General Operative Groundworkers in the Poole area to join a ready-made gang and work across the region, including water industry sites. Lead Hand and Skilled Operative roles are mentioned as applicable as well.

Ideal candidates will have civils experience, CSCS Touchscreen & health & safety awareness, and possibly CPCS/NOCN/NPORs plant tickets, with a driving license being essential. A strong safety mindset is emphasised throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe-laying.
• CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course is the minimum requirement.
• Ideally holding or working towards CPCS / NOCN / NPORs Plant Tickets.
• Driving License essential.

Here at JN Bentley we are looking for enthusiastic and positive General Operative Groundworkers who live in the Poole area, to join as part of a ready-made gang to work across the region.

Please can Lead Hand and Skilled Operative apply on the relevant role.

In the role you will workas part of a gang on various construction sitespredominantlywithin the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, ideally with experience of general civils work, concreting, excavations, deep drainage and pipe laying.

Candidate Specification

• Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – particularly general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe-laying.
• CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course - Minimum requirement
• Ideally holding or working towards your CPCS / NOCN / NPORs Plant Tickets.
• Driving License essential

• Plant tickets for Forward Tipping Dumper & Ride on Roller would be advantageous, but training given if needed.
