Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is hiring a General Operative to work across our breeder farms in Moy Park areas. The role involves vaccinating stock with both live and dead vaccines, carrying out sampling, on-farm assessments, health and safety compliance, and blood testing as directed by the farm manager. Daily travel to multiple farms is required.

Applicants should be literate, numerate, and capable of working well in a team. A valid driving licence is essential, and previous farm experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Travel between a number of Pilgrims Europe/Moy Park Breeder farms on a daily basis.
• Vaccination of stock using both dead and live vaccines.
• Carrying out sampling and on-farm assessments.
• Awareness and application of Health and Safety Regulations.
• Blood testing and other duties as required by the manager.

Job description

The General Operative will be required to travel around a number of our Pilgrims Europe/Moy Park Breeder farms on a daily basis, carrying out various duties but not limited to; Vaccination of stock using both dead and live Vaccine, sampling, on farm assessments, awareness and application of Health and Safety Regulations, blood testing and other duties that may be required by the manager.

Hours Of Work Will Be

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
