Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe Agriculture team is seeking a dedicated Farm Service Team member to support our breeder farms across the Lincoln area. The role focuses on vaccinations, chick placements, bird movements, and general farm care, working with a busy farm team to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to comply with Red Tractor standards, biosecurity and health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 completed or willing to complete.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• UK driving license preferred.
• Follow Red Tractor standards and industry assurance schemes.
• Comply with biosecurity and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple farm teams to coordinate activities.
• Maintain strong work ethic and hands-on approach to tasks.
• Learn and adapt to farm procedures and equipment.
• Follow industry assurance standards and biosecurity rules.
• Attend to general farm duties including animal husbandry, egg collection, and ground keeping.

Job description

We are looking for a new team member to join our Breeder Farm Service Team and play a vital role on our farms.

Key Tasks

• Vaccinations, chick placements and bird movements.
• Working with the team to care for the livestock.
• General farm work, including husbandry, egg collecting and farm ground keeping.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ability work with multiple farm teams.
• Strong work ethic and hands-on approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn.
• Follow Red Tractor/industry assurance scheme standards.
• Comply with biosecurity and health and safety procedures.
• Completed/willing to complete an NVQ Level 2.
• Availability for night shifts.
• UK Driving license desired. (UK License for over 1 year, No more than 6 live points, No previous convictions for DD, DG, DR)

Your Team

As part of the Service Team, you will be reporting to one of the Area Managers and working across all our Breeder farms.

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
