Job summary

TES Power, Ballykelly, is seeking General Operatives to join our production team. This entry-level role supports assembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.

As part of the team you will assist in assembly, operate basic tools, follow drawings and SOPs, and help maintain safety and quality standards in a busy environment. Training is provided to develop your skills and career.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly and production build of switchgear equipment.
• Operate basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Support mechanical fitters and panel wirers in daily tasks.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Carry out basic inspections and report any issues or defects.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

TES Power is an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Power Distribution solutions. Due to the continued growth and expansion, we are seeking skilled General Operativesto join our expanding production team in Ballykelly.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting theassembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.

About the role

• Assist in the assembly and production build process of switchgear equipment

• Operate basic tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

• Support mechanical fitters and panel wirers in daily tasks

The Person:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential

• Experience using hand tools or working in an engineering environment

• Exposure to assembly, wiring, or mechanical tasks

• Flexibility to work overtime when required
