Todd Hayes Ltd is recruiting a General Operative for a 1-week temporary assignment in Norwich. The role supports a fast-paced cans manufacturing facility and involves sorting lids, handling materials, and assisting the production team to meet daily targets.

You will work closely with supervisors, follow health and safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organised workspace while demonstrating reliability and flexibility to cover day-to-day operational needs.

Our client, a Global Packaging Manufacturer, is currently seeking a Forklift driver to join their well-established team on an 1 week temporary basis.

Our client is looking for an immediate start for an 1 week assignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sorting and handling lids in line with production requirements.
• Assisting with general production and operational activities within the cans manufacturing facility.
• Supporting the manufacturing team with routine operational tasks as required to meet production demands.
• Assisting with the movement, handling, and preparation of materials and products.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures, policies, and quality standards.
• Following instructions from supervisors and working effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrating a reliable, flexible, and positive approach to support the day-to-day operational needs of the business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, ideally within a high-speed production setting essential
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment such as seamers, palletisers, slitters, and flex lines.
