Job summary

Mears in Manchester is seeking a hardworking General Operative to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. This hands-on role combines practical skills with customer service and teamwork to keep our properties in top condition.

You will install fixtures, undertake painting and decorating, assist with cleaning and waste duties, and collaborate with colleagues and residents while upholding safety and quality standards. A full UK driving license is required.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of housing maintenance and repairs
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work as a team and alone
• Good communication skills

Salary: £32,523.75 per annum, plus company van & fuel card

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, 8:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role
