Job summary

AQUMEN Recruitment is seeking a General Operative for a busy Ossett manufacturing site. The role offers a temp-to-perm pathway with immediate starts and long-term career prospects. You will join a friendly, supportive team and contribute to the production of tiling products.

Working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts, you will handle materials, operate machinery and perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met. Training and progression opportunities are available.

• Comfortable with physical work and manual handling.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.

Location: Ossett, West Yorkshire (WF5)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12hr shifts 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00 rotating

The Role

As a General Operative, you'll be working within a busy manufacturing environment, helping produce high-quality tiling products while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of tiling products
• Manual handling of up to 25kg
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
• Handling materials and supporting the production process
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
