Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd. in Leyland, near Preston, is seeking General Operatives for the paint line. This role involves loading and unloading products and supporting the production team on rotating shifts (6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm). Immediate starts are available.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing or a fast-paced environment, with reliability, punctuality and a good eye for detail. Access to own transport is preferred due to early/late shifts.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking x2 General Operatives to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for loading and unloading our paint line and supporting the production process while working as part of an established team.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading products onto and from the paint line.
• Safely handling materials throughout the production process.
• Supporting daily production activities to meet operational targets.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Following all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Strong team-working skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Essential Requirement

Due to the nature of the rotating shift pattern (6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm), candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as public transport may not be suitable for travelling to and from site during these hours.

Working Hours

Rotating shifts:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
