Job summary

Personnel Link Employment Group Ltd is recruiting a General Operative for a sheet metal manufacturer in Buntingford. This temp to perm role offers full training and long-term stability within a busy production environment.

Starting pay is £12.71 per hour with overtime paid at £19.06 per hour after 40 hours and a £1.50 shift allowance on the afternoon shift from 4pm. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm during training, then 1pm - 10pm on the afternoon shift.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and be trained in powder coating and production processes.
• A reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good attention to detail when handling and packing parts.
• Previous experience in warehouse, production, assembly, or manufacturing roles is helpful but not essential.
