Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Office Assistant based at Glangwili General Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out general office administrative duties and providing a cashier service to patients, visitors, and staff, following standard financial procedures.
The main point of contact will be manning the reception, dealing with patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include reimbursement of travel claims and receiving and processing money from various sources.
The role also involves receiving, recording, and safeguarding all lost property in the hospital, as well as collecting, counting, and receipting cash on the Oracle system, and processing credit card payments. The postholder will bank funds at the end of each day as needed.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position; applications from English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
