Our private healthcare business is growing and we are appointing to the role of General Manager for Private Healthcare at UCLH.
This role will lead on the development and delivery of private patient services across all specialties at UCLH.
At UCLH we have ambitious plans to develop our private patient services and to grow the contribution it makes to the UCLH’s income, which is used to support patient care and develop new services for the benefit of all of our patients. This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Private Healthcare team, working alongside clinicians, colleagues and patients to provide high quality care.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the operational team within an expanding service, and to be instrumental in developing the direction of our business. We are in the process of expanding our paediatric haematology service so this is a pivotal time to join our team and ensure our new facilities are a huge success. Reporting to the Director of Private Healthcare, you will be responsible for the operational management and performance of the dedicated private healthcare facilities at UCLH, as well as supporting the delivery of private healthcare in services that are integrated with the NHS. You will lead on relationship management with our consultants, ensuring the trust has the capacity and service infrastructure to support their patients’ requirements and identifying and developing new private business opportunities.
You will be working closely with the Director of Private Healthcare to set the strategic direction for our services and will work with colleagues across the trust to lead the operational delivery of our private healthcare strategy.
To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated individual with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and with the ability to form credible working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including senior managers and consultants. You will have significant experience in operational management and be able to work independently to lead and develop our services to the highest standards of clinical and customer service. Healthcare experience in the private sector is an advantage.
