1. Organising and supervising the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations.
2. Managing the efficient and effective operation of the unit, ensuring quality service.
3. Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards.
4. Using resources, including stock, staff, and assets, efficiently and economically.

Who you are:

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing strategic guidance and managing the business through your team.
2. Previous contract catering experience.
3. Effective communication, motivation, and leadership of management and catering staff.
4. Responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
5. Regular communication with the client.
6. Implementing action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys.
7. Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Group advocate.
8. Managing internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ensuring high standards of client hospitality and seeking feedback.
10. Identifying opportunities for service enhancement and innovation.
11. Operating within the budget, monitoring trends, and taking corrective actions.
12. Delivering customer requirements and expectations.
