Job description

We're looking for a General Manager for a community pub in Killingworth, Newcastle. Salary up to £43k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains, operating more than 1,300 pubs, bars, and hotels. We are seeking a talented General Manager to lead the team at the Kings Arms in Killingworth, Newcastle, and drive the pub's success!

About the pub

The Kings Arms is a 2-zoned community pub located next to Killingworth shopping centre. It hosts regular charity and community events, has a lively bar area with TV screens for sports, and a strong food offering with traditional pub dishes and a pizza oven. Outdoor seating and a large shared car park are available. The pub currently trades well with weekly sales of around £20,000, with a 65/35 wet-to-food split, attracting families, young adults, mature diners, and regular drinkers. There is ample housing within a mile to attract more locals and it is part of a local pub circuit with six pubs nearby.
