Lumino Lounge is hiring a hands-on General Manager to lead our local caf bar, guide a growing team, and uphold high hospitality standards. You’ll drive customer joy, manage daily operations, and foster a one-team culture across front of house and kitchen.

We offer a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, permanent full-time status (48-hour contract, 40-hour option), and real progression opportunities within a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• A natural people leader who builds loyal, motivated teams across front-of-house and kitchen.

• Hands-on leader who coaches on the floor and supports growth with clear progression.
• Strong commercial sense with GP, labour, stock and KPI understanding.
• Experience managing restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops at a supervisory level.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of Lumino Lounge across shifts, ensuring optimal staffing and standards.
• Build, recruit and develop a strong team with clear development plans.
• Work with the Head Chef on food quality, wait times, stock, and cross-team training.
• Know your numbers (GP, labour, stock, NPS) and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead weekly HOD meetings and keep 14 shifts aligned and motivated.
• Raise Lumino Lounge's community presence via social media and local events.
• Schedule fair rotas at least two weeks in advance and manage shift reporting.

• Take full ownership of Lumino Lounge - leading a variety of shifts, making sure the right people are in the right place and standards never slip
• Build, recruit and develop a strong team, with clear development plans for your team members so people know how to grow with you
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with your Head Chef to stay across everything from food quality and wait times to stock, NSF standards and cross-team training
• Know your numbers inside out - GP, labour, NPS, stock counts and use them to make smart decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Lead weekly HOD meetings, keeping everyone aligned, motivated and pulling in the same direction across all 14 shifts
• Put Lumino Lounge at the heart of your local community - through an active social media presence, community events, and building genuine relationships with your regulars and neighbours
• Schedule fair rotas at least two weeks in advance and take the lead on all shift reporting, including performance, customer issues and safety

You're comfortable recruiting, training and developing teams, and you're as happy running a shift as you're reviewing performance.
