Job summary

Old Thorns Hotel & Resort in Hampshire invites a capable General Manager to lead the resort through refurbishment, rebranding and repositioning on completion.

You will provide leadership across Accommodation, F&B, Golf, Spa, Events and Leisure, drive performance and profitability while delivering a premium guest experience, and work with ownership on strategy and brand development. This is a full-time role at our countryside estate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a resort environment would be advantageous.
• A strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
• Passion for creating memorable guest experiences with a meticulous eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• As General Manager you will be the driving force behind the Resorts successful refurbishment, rebranding & repositioning on completion.
• Provide strong leadership across all areas to include Accommodation, F&B, Golf, Spa, Events, & Leisure.
• Drive performance & profitability whilst maintaining a premium guest experience.
• Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership on strategy, innovation & brand development.
• Lead and develop departmental Managers to foster a positive & motivated workplace culture.
