Job summary

Love Recruitment Limited in Marlow, UK, is seeking a Club Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new fitness club. This full-time role (40 hours) places you at the heartbeat of the club, responsible for day-to-day operations, team leadership and delivering an exceptional member experience.

You will drive sales and membership growth, manage budgets and KPIs, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and collaborate with HQ to achieve business goals.

Our client is bringing an exciting new fitness concept to the UK and is looking for an ambitious Club Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new club in Marlow.

You'll be the heartbeat of the club — leading your team, creating an exceptional member experience and taking ownership of commercial performance.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day operation of the club, including service, staffing, safety and cleanliness
• Driving sales, membership growth, retention and NPS
• Managing budgets, costs and key KPIs
• Recruiting, coaching and developing a high-performing team
• Creating an energetic, positive and performance-focused culture
• Acting as the local face of the brand and maintaining high standards
• Working closely with HQ and regional stakeholders to deliver business goals
• Leading by example and continually looking for ways to improve performance

About you

You're a natural leader with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for people and customer experience.

You'll bring:

• Proven sales experience and a track record of exceeding KPIs
• Experience in hospitality, leisure or another customer-facing environment
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on, proactive approach
• Experience building and developing high-performing teams
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability
• A passion for fitness, health or sport

Fitness industry experience is a bonus, but not essential.
