A fantastic opportunity to become a General Manager of a busy hotel.

With 231 keys, the ibis Cambridge Central Station is located close to the historic city of Cambridge and its famous colleges.

Guests can enjoy the unique Chill#2 Artisan Coffee Shop and Bar on site, offering indoor and outdoor seating.

Cambridge is a beautiful city known for its prestigious university and striking architecture. With everything within walking distance, it's easy to explore its colleges, historic buildings, and beautiful river — and of course, you've got to go punting.


Job Description

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all hotel departments, aligning operations with brand standards and business objectives.

• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff.

• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.

• The successful candidate will have a track record of building great relationships with all stakeholders in the business, including owners, managers, employees, clients, and neighbors.


Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

• You must have a minimum of 2 years experience as Hotel Manager; AGMs of large hotels in key cities may be considered.

• Proven track record to drive top-line revenue and motivate your team to do the same.

• For the successful applicant, the role offers the chance to contribute to the successes of the two superbly positioned hotels in a competitive market while providing individual challenge and personal development.
