An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join our team at Freedom Leisure, one of the fastest growing and successful leisure and cultural trusts in the UK.
The Marina Centre offers a wide range of activities for residents and visitors, including a leisure pool with two slides, a splash zone, clip and climb, a fitness suite, exercise studios, and a sports hall. The centre also features a café overlooking the beach, serving as a community focal point.
We are a not-for-profit leisure trust committed to supporting local communities and hard-to-reach groups, encouraging them to become more active through various programs such as swimming lessons and walking football.
We seek a General Manager with entrepreneurial skills, financial acumen, and a passion for high standards, who can demonstrate ownership and results delivery. Excellent commercial awareness, the ability to drive sales and manage expenditure, and strong leadership skills are essential. The candidate should be capable of motivating the team and engaging with customers, stakeholders, and the local community.
Your responsibilities will include:
