Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse Limited is recruiting a Designate General Manager to support several pubs/houses in the North Devon/Somerset area while you complete a structured development programme that leads to sole site responsibility.

Qualifications

The timing of the program will depend on your rate of progress and a suitable House becoming available.

What you'll need to be:

• An experienced GM with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
• Based in the North Devon or Somerset, area or planning to re-locate
• Competent in kitchen oversight and the control of food production
• Ideally experienced in letting rooms
• An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
• A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing hospitality businesses
• Diligent with brand standards and processes
• Well-presented, analytical and proactive in problem-solving
• Able to commit to work within the GM development program at various locations
• Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
• A natural host who loves making people's day
• Flexible and resilient with a solutions based mindset
• Mobile with access to independent transport, and prepared to stay away from home occasionally as required
