What a lovely opportunity this will be for someone! A privately owned, upscale, established & very well known local neighbourhood restaurant in a central Warwick location that is loved by its local clientele. The owners are brilliant, down to earth, and will give you the space to spread your wings & run the site as if it were your own. It is a small, cosy, straightforward operation with a dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone looking to escape the rat race of their current job, to strip away the complexities of larger companies, and to enjoy building relationships with a lovely local clientele who love sharing a bottle of wine and incredible food with their partners or friends. The atmosphere is relaxed, laid back, and super friendly—everything you'd want from a local neighbourhood restaurant.
The restaurant reviews brilliantly well—4.5* across several thousand reviews. The front of house team is very well drilled, and the kitchen provides authentic cuisine made with care, love, and attention.
There is a strong, established front of house team in place. The requirement is to bring onboard a commercially astute GM who is detail-oriented and can propel the business into 2026. A structured business plan is in place, and the Directors are keen to interview candidates with a proven track record of success.
This role isn't for everyone. It's suited for a General Manager who is growing tired of the thankless corporate environment, daily tick-box exercises, and paperwork, or someone who sees managing a large team and pursuing a regional role within 6-12 months as their only options, or who is considering setting up on their own. It's for a manager who understands that running a restaurant involves more than just managing shifts. It's for those who genuinely care about their guests, and who don't want to lose their passion because their current company has nothing more to offer.
