Job summary

Torquay Golf Club is seeking an outstanding General Manager to lead the Club through its next development phase. You will provide clear leadership across the Club, drive commercial opportunities and support a thriving Food & Beverage operation and course management, reporting to the Board.

The role offers full-time senior leadership with an attractive remuneration package, relocation assistance if required, and the chance to shape golf, social and visitor experiences in South Devon.

The Club

Torquay Golf Club is seeking an outstanding General Manager to lead the Club through the next stage of its development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving members’ golf club in a strong position, with full membership, an excellent Food & Beverage operation, a vibrant clubhouse atmosphere and an established ten-year course development plan that continues to enhance the quality of the golf course and member experience.

Previous golf-club management experience would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in exceptional candidates from hospitality, leisure, private members’ clubs or other high-quality customer-focused businesses.

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package is available with an OTE up to £65,000.

No accommodation is provided, but relocation assistance could be available if required.
