Job summary

Tenpin Southampton is seeking a driven General Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our leisure centre, creating a fun environment for customers and staff while meeting business objectives. You will drive growth through local promotions, develop annual plans with the Regional Manager, and build a professional team through training, appraisals and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a hands-on General Manager in leisure or hospitality.
• Experience in optimising revenue and overall business performance.
• Demonstrates determination, enthusiasm and patience.
• Fully flexible and highly adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of excellent customer service and guest experience.

The Role

As a General Manager you will manage the day-to-day operation of our centre, which includes:

• Creating a culture of excellent customer service
• Driving the business growth through local promotions and central product delivery
• Developing an annual business plan with the Regional Manager focusing on growth and financial target
• Creating a professional environment with training, appraisals, fair management and support team operations and strategy execution.

Skills You Need

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a hands‑on General Manager, ideally within leisure or hospitality, whilst leading and developing large teams
• Experience in optimising revenue and overall business performance
• Full of determination, enthusiasm, and patience
• Fully flexible and highly adaptable to change
