Overview

We are working with a long-established communications business that is entering an exciting phase of change and growth. With a strong European presence and a UK team of around 40 people across Sales, Technical, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, the company is now seeking a General Manager to take full ownership of UK operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to make a significant cultural and commercial impact. You’ll be responsible for leading by example, driving performance, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK operations across Sales, Finance, Technical, Marketing, and Operations.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership experience in a General Manager, Director, or equivalent senior role.
• Background in channel sales environments, working with resellers and integrators.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to set and deliver strategy.
• Experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work beyond a standard 9–5, particularly during periods of change.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the secure communications or technology sector.
• Experience leading teams of 25–150 people.
