As General Manager, you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operation of this Scottish-based flagship leisure venue. You will report to a Scottish-based Regional Operational Director and manage an existing team of approximately 40 to 50 employees, including full-time and part-time staff.
Your responsibilities include managing all financial budgets, controlling unit-based costs, and overseeing venue payroll and employee rostering. The venue has been performing well since its recent reopening, but requires a hands-on General Manager to ensure it is positioned correctly in the market to attract the right audience for events such as fitness classes, private birthdays, and other functions.
The company emphasizes high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety at work. You will need to ensure that staff are trained and uphold all established standards.
We are ideally looking for an experienced Hospitality or Leisure Operational Manager, possibly from a hotel or leisure background, with a strong operational background in events, food & beverage, and team development. The candidate should be seeking a role within the hospitality venue and attractions sector, and prefer a working hours finish of 10 pm instead of 1 am.
