Job summary

Path Recruitment is seeking a General Manager near Salisbury to lead a depot operation, overseeing around 15 staff including hire controllers, fitters and drivers, and to drive profitable performance.

You will grow and develop customer accounts, ensure strict Health & Safety compliance, and mentor staff alongside HR, with salary circa £50k DOE and a company car plus bonus scheme. On-site parking is included.

Qualifications

• Manage circa 15 staff within the depot, including hire controllers, fitters and drivers.
• Proven track record of increasing turnover and growing customer accounts.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures and compliance.
• Ability to mentor staff alongside HR and conduct appraisals and salary reviews.
