This role involves overseeing property management operations to ensure high service levels and collaborative support for students. We are looking for a General Manager to join our team.
The General Manager will take the lead role in the management of Kaplan Living Nottingham, ensuring the property is managed and operated in line with agreed operating principles driving industry-leading service levels to students, parents and stakeholders.
In Nottingham, the residence is in the city centre, and as well as Direct Let students, serves the two International Colleges Kaplan operates in the city: one on the campus of Nottingham Trent University, the other right next to the University of Nottingham’s University Park campus. It will be especially important that the General Manager works collaboratively with College teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the support, wellbeing and experience of our students.

What you’ll bring to the role
Experience of working in student accommodation
Demonstrable approach to service excellence, customer care and a sensitivity to students’ needs
Has an understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and welfare practices within an educational environment
Working knowledge of the ANUK Accreditation Scheme and Health and Safety Management
Can effectively plan to manage budgets and resources efficiently and meet priorities and targets
Experience of leading a team proactively in the delivery of high quality services and continuous improvement
Can embed inclusive practices in all aspects of their work
