We're looking for a General Manager for a family-friendly pub in the heart of Nottinghamshire's historic woodlands. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Alders is a vibrant community pub near Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, and Clipstone Forest. Its name derives from the original spelling of Allerton, meaning 'farm amongst the alders.'

We serve a community-focused food menu and daily carvery, with an average weekly net sales of £29,000, predominantly from food (60/40 split). Features include a children's play area and a large beer garden, popular during summer.

Successful candidates will be experienced General Managers with a track record in high-volume, food-led branded environments. You should be a natural leader, passionate about inspiring teams, delivering excellent guest experiences, and engaging with the local community.

Management accommodation is available in a 3-bedroom flat above the pub.
