Westwood Recruitment is recruiting a General Manager for a premier hospitality venue in Manchester. You will lead a busy operation, drive guest experiences and oversee commercial performance with a large team.

We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on leader with a proven track record in high-volume hospitality, capable of managing labour, costs and profitability while developing senior managers and a culture of excellence.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy and successful venue, leading a large team whilst driving standards, guest experience, and commercial performance.

This is a high-volume environment, and we're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced operations whilst never losing sight of quality. You'll be equally comfortable leading from the front during peak trading periods and analysing business performance to identify opportunities for growth.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and have genuine influence over the success of the business, developing your team and creating an environment where both guests and employees have an exceptional experience.

• Previous experience as a General Manager within a high-volume hospitality operation.
• Proven experience managing businesses generating £100,000+ per week in sales.
• Strong background in quality-led restaurants, bars, or hospitality venues.
• Passionate about food, drink, service, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Commercially astute with a track record of driving sales and profitability.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and mentoring management teams.
• Hands-on, visible leader who enjoys being part of the operation.
