Spirit Health is seeking a General Manager for our Education Services function. The role leads EMPOWER and X-PERT brands, bringing services and teams together to deliver brilliant patient outcomes, sustainable growth, and a thriving team.

You will own the budget and business plan, drive performance, and collaborate with NHS customers while using data and digital tools to make services simpler, more efficient, and scalable. This is a home-based role with regular trips to Leicester.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a service-based team and developing people to deliver results.
• Commercial and financial judgement with budget ownership and performance improvement.
• Business development history growing valuable services.
• Healthcare knowledge including NHS commissioning and governance requirements.
• Delivery experience, launching services and leading teams through change.
• Clear communication to build trust and influence partners.
• Curiosity with data, digital tools and AI for smarter work.
• CQC and regulatory accountability; Registered Manager status as applicable.

What we need

• Leadership. Experience leading a service-based team and developing people to deliver results.
• Commercial and financial judgement. Confidence owning budgets, improving performance and growing services.
• Business development expertise with a track record of growing services that matter.
• Healthcare understanding. Strong knowledge of NHS commissioning, healthcare customers and relevant clinical governance requirements.
• Delivery and change. Experience improving operations, launching services and leading teams through change.
• Clear communication. Able to build trust, influence partners and turn plans into action.
• Curiosity and insight. Comfortable using data, digital tools and AI responsibly to work smarter.
• CQC and regulatory accountability. Ensure appropriate CQC registration and regulatory oversight. Personal appointment as Registered Manager subject to CQC approval.
