Luso, part of MJMK Restaurants, is seeking a General Manager to lead it on Charlotte Street, London. The role is floor-based, full-time, and responsible for guest experience, team leadership, and site performance at a two-Michelin-starred venue.

You will work closely with the head chef and wine team to enhance dining and service standards while driving revenue and cost control in a premium setting. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-standard operation.

Location: Charlotte Street, W1T, London (full time/site based)

Luso, our Portuguese restaurant on Charlotte Street, is looking for a General Manager to lead it. This role exists to take full ownership of the restaurant and to uphold the standard that earned it a place in the Michelin Guide..

Luso celebrates the diversity of Portugal's coastline and countryside. The menu is rooted in regional dining traditions, with deep respect for both land and sea. Dishes such as sea bass baked in salt sit alongside olive oil martinis and wines from iconic producers. The restaurant sits across two floors at 30 Charlotte Street, with a private dining room seating 12 and a terrace.

The General Manager leads Luso from the floor and takes full accountability for the restaurant: the guest experience, the team, and the commercial performance of the site. You will set the standard the team follows through every service, working closely with the head chef and the team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is made for an experienced restaurant leader who is happiest on the floor. It will suit someone from a premium dining background who is confident owning a site end to end, and who leads with warmth and generosity.

This is a floor-based leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the head chef and the wine and drinks team to develop the food and drink offer

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award‑winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.
