You will lead a senior team and report to the Venue Director, focusing on service excellence, financial performance and delivering high-profile conferences, banquets and meetings.

The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of London's most prestigious events venues.

De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is a unique, non-residential events venue in the heart of London, between Covent Garden and Holborn. As the only dedicated events venue of its kind within the De Vere collection, it hosts a wide range of conferences, meetings, banquets, awards ceremonies and special events. It is a 124,000 square foot venue over multiple floors so you’ll get your steps in!

As General Manager you'll report to the Venue Director and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring high standards, excellent service delivery and strong commercial performance. You will lead a senior team including the Head Chef, Operations Manager, Head of People & Culture and Chief Engineer, with a clear focus on driving performance, managing costs and delivering outstanding events.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Venue Manager looking to take the next step, or an established General Manager seeking to focus on the non-residential meetings and events market.
