Job Summary

Staycity Edinburgh is seeking a General Manager to oversee our busy 144 room aparthotel in Edinburgh, EH3 8AS.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, driving financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through innovative sales initiatives.
• Enhance the hotel's brand presence in the market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, suppliers, and the local community.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
