Job summary

Baron of Beef in Cambridge seeks a confident, commercially minded pub leader to own and grow the business. You will lead a busy team, drive sales and create an unforgettable customer experience in a historic setting.

You'll manage events, live music, karaoke and sport offering while maintaining high standards of service, food, safety and compliance. Personal Licence or ability to obtain one is required.

You'll be at the heart of the pub, leading your team, driving sales and creating the kind of atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Pub Manager or experienced Assistant Manager ready for their next step.
• Experience leading a busy hospitality, retail or leisure business.
• A strong commercial mindset and an eye for opportunities to drive sales and profitability.
• The ability to recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• The confidence to make decisions, take ownership and get stuck in.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.
• A Personal Licence, or the ability to obtain one.
