Job summary

Wolseley UK is seeking a General Manager for the West Bromwich branch. You will lead a 20-person team, drive sales performance, and deliver outstanding customer service while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time, 40-hour week role offering a competitive salary plus a £5,500 car allowance and bonus, plus benefits including pension (matched up to 9%), 24 days of annual leave, private healthcare, discounts, and cycle-to-work options.

Role & Responsibilities

As a General Manager based in our West Bromwich branch, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, inspiring, and developing the branch team of 20
• Driving sales performance and new business growth
• Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Overseeing all aspects of branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and effective people management

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week.
